CYNTHIA 'ALEX' SCOTT -BUTLER

Cynthia, she preferred to be called Alex, was born on July 19,2005 in Safety Harbor, Florida in Pinellas County.  She attended the public schools in Pinellas and Hillsborough Counties and upon her demise was enrolled in Florida Virtual School.  She loved to participate in school activities.  She played the Viola and Violin and was a member of the volleyball team at Stewart Middle School and was a member of the band at Spoto High School.  She also played volleyball at I-9 Sports Center in Riverview Fl.  Her future plans were to attend Hillsborough Community College and subsequently, to attend Florida A & M University.

She was preceded in death by her  birth father – Alfred Timmons, adopted parents Mary Macon Scott and James Butler, Sr ; Grandfather- Willie McAfee; Uncles- Azell Macon and James Macon.

Cynthia Scott-Butler leaves to cherish her memories:  Sister & Guardian, Teresa Scott-Davis (Daren); Birth Mother, Nicole Timmons; Sisters- Sadie Scott-Butler, Charnell Shirley  and Rolonda King; Brothers-Robert J. Timmons , Theodore (Tedd) Scott, Jr. ( Deveda) Andrew Butler, Joshua Butler and James Butler, Jr.; Grandmothers- Cynthia Thurman Miller (Charles), Ira Nell Harris and Rosa Mae Scott; Grandfather- Theodore (Tedd) Scott Sr.; Aunts-Tiffany Austin, Patricia Macon , Vivion Harris and Delores Williams; Uncles- Will Norton, Antonio Thurman, Joshua Thurman, Christopher Thurman, Roy Macon (Desiree), Irvin Harris.  Special friend of the family Ms. Gloria Woods and a host of other relatives and friends.
